Where to Print
Printers are located on the first floor and lower level of the Morris Library (see map for specific locations).
How to Print
Students may send a document to the print queues in Morris Library from any of the desktop computers located in the library, or from their own Apple device or Mac laptop. Sending documents directly to our print queues from a Windows laptop is not currently possible.

Printing Fees
Students receive a $5.00 free printing allocation each Fall and Spring Semester. For further details about printing fees, see our Printing Information page.
Who Can Print
University of Delaware Students
Many students’ UD ONEcards receive $5.00 as a free printing allocation every January and July. This free printing allocation does not purchase photocopies. After the free allocation is used, printing fees debit UD Flex accounts. Carry-over of unused free page allocation is not provided.
University of Delaware Faculty and Staff
UD students, faculty and staff can use their UD ONEcard to print by adding funds to their Flex account. For details, see how to use your UD ONEcard to print at Morris Library.
University of Delaware Retirees and Public Borrowers
Retirees, public patrons and community borrowers will have limited access to printing in the library after May 31, 2024. Library Copy Cards are being phased out and will no longer be sold after this date.
Those with existing copy cards can still use their cards in the library and replenish their balance at the VTS machines located in Trabant University Center and Perkins Student Center.
Library Copy Cards that are lost, damaged or stolen will not be replaced.
Patrons are encouraged to scan and email any documents and materials from the library collection. Printing is available for a fee at University Printing, local shipping and mailing services in Newark (UPS, FedEx), and at the Newark Free Library.
Large Format Printing
Poster or other large format printing is available in Morris Library at our Student Multimedia Design Center on the lower level. For details about fees and how to request a large format print, see our Large Format Printing Information page.
Scanning
Multiple scanners and BookScanners are available in Morris Library for all individuals, including public borrowers and UD retirees. Scanning is free. For details about scanner types, locations, and how to use, see our Scanning Information page.
Copying
There is no copier in Morris Library. Morris Library no longer has copy machines for use in public areas. To make a copy of a document, you may scan the document using our scanners, and then send the scan to a print queue using the instructions above.
